Wadi Rum, Jordan - 2023

I didn’t intend to use 800 ISO film in one of the hottest places on Earth, but that’s what was in my camera at the time so I made it work. And in turn created one of my favorite images I’ve ever created. It feels cinematic and surreal while capturing the natural beauty of this amazing landscape - you can feel the relief of the shade, the sun bouncing off the sand, the hot air scorching your lungs as you breathe in.
